WoodBio Show 2022 Coming In Hot
The newly released agenda for the Wood Bioenergy Conference & Expo features 12 keynote talks over the two-day event, covering everything from the state of the industrial wood pellets industry and its leading producers to developments in biofuels, timber supply and outlook, and woody biomass fueled electricity in Arizona. In addition, special technical sessions will hone in on Fire Prevention, Alternative Raw Materials, Air Treatment, Raw Materials Conversion, Process Optimization and New Technologies.
The hottest project in biofuels is Louisiana Green Fuels and the renewable diesel operation its parent company, Strategic Biofuels, is building at the Port of Columbia in Caldwell Parish, La. Stan Parton, VP Forestry at Strategic Biofuels, will deliver one of the keynote talks at the Wood Bioenergy Conference & Expo and expound on the project, which intends to combine Carbon Capture and Sequestration with conversion of forestry waste to renewable fuels, yielding a carbon negative fuel product. Parton is highly respected for his years of advisement to forest products and bioenergy projects through The Parton Group, and for numerous years was manager of bioenergy activities at Forest2Market.
