Our BioSizers are robust high-speed wastewood grinders specifically manufactured to produce a fine, consistent product ideal for the biomass industry. These secondary grinders process oversized “bush-grind”, hog fuel, trim blocks, and wood chips, converting it all into uniform sized fibers suitable for high-quality biomass fuel.

Built for low maintenance, the BioSizer features a high inertia rotor with fixed, steel hammers. The four rows of staggered hammers are fitted with two-sided tungsten carbide coated striker bars for longevity. The rotor is mounted with B-Loks onto an oversized shaft supported by spherical bearings and installed in a spigot mounted steel bearing housing.

 The Brunette BioSizer’s extreme duty main frame is line-bored for accuracy and alignment ensuring maximum bearing life. The swing-away anvil and grate are protected with shear pins to eliminate any damage due to processing large pieces of metal or rock. Additional protection is provided by internal, replaceable, bolt-on wear liners.

 The 3-piece grate has a progressive rectangular hole pattern and interchangeable sections. Grates are available with optional hole patterns for various product size.

Designed for efficiency, the BioSizer is user-friendly and ergonomic with a large rear-access door that allows for easy maintenance and striker bar change out.

We also manufacture and supply complementary equipment such as vibrating conveyors, disc scalping screens, E-Sweeps, and log singulators to ensure you get the most from your operation.
