Continental Explosion Resistant Conveyors, Metering Bins
Continental has been designing and manufacturing explosion resistant conveyors and metering bins for over 10 years. Conveyor casings, hoppers and bins are designed to resist explosions using advanced FEA modeling software. Explosion protection, whether vent panels for outdoor applications or flameless vents for indoor installations conform to NFPA standards. Explosion detection and suppression devices can also be provided.
Additionally, bolt-on deluge systems with easy maintenance nozzles can be provided for any type of enclosed bulk material handling equipment.
Continental provides a full range of mechanical bulk handling and storage equipment including en-masse chain conveyors, screw conveyors, belt conveyors as well as storage and reclaim solutions. Robust designs coupled with over 60 years of wood industry and related experience assures quality conveying systems that provide maximum plant uptime.
En-masse chain conveyors offer steep angle conveying solutions with capacities up to 930 m3/hour while slewing screw reclaimers for stockpiles or silos can reclaim up to 1200 m3/hour.
