Washington-based Longview Fibre Paper and Packaging Inc. has announced plans to build a 65-megawatt biomass plant, estimated at $100 million. Longview Fibre hopes to have the plant operational in about two years. The plant is expected to burn around 38,000 tons of wood chips, hog fuel, and sawdust monthly.
DOE Reports Shows Renewable Usage Up
